Membership in Hospitality People (HP) is exclusive to those involved in the hospitality construction industry, as well as allied product and service providers. Associate Membership is on an individual basis and is not transferable. Company memberships are transferable to any three to four people from one company to attend any event. Membership dues are paid annually and must be paid in advance. HP must be notified of a change of address or employment.

Hospitality Construction Professional – No fee

A hospitality construction professional is defined as anyone employed by a hospitality chain such as hotels or restaurants and engaged in any of the following: architecture, construction, corporate management, design, energy/utilities, facilities maintenance, information systems, operations, project management, purchasing, real estate, security, or store planning.

Associate – Annual dues $199

An associate is defined as any professional employed by or owner of a product or service company that derives 50% or more of its total business from the hospitality industry. Includes: architects, contract designers, general contractors, marketing professionals, product vendors, property managers, shopping center owners/developers, store planners, and other service providers.

Student – Annual dues $35

A student is defined as anyone engaged in attending college and enrolled in an accredited department of architecture, construction, engineering or interior design.

Company- Annual dues $750

A company membership is defined as anyone who would like their entire company to be involved with hospitality people, entitling any three to four members of a company to attend any event, anywhere. This includes all companies listed previously and more membership benefits than an associate; see application to view details.

Dual Company Membership- Annual dues $1100

This membership is offered for companies that want to participate in both Hospitality People and The Retail People. A Dual Company Membership (DCM) still entitles th e company to the same principles as the company membership, only for both The Retail People and Hospitality People. A company membership is defined as anyone who would like their entire company to be involved with hospitality people, entitling any three to four members of a company to attend any event, anywhere.
